五、滚球桩
预备势同“无极桩”。具体动作如下:
1. 转身托拳:身体重心移至左腿,上体微左转;左掌托右拳向左、向上提举至左前胸。目视右拳。(图3-12)

2. 转身翻掌:上动不停,重心向右移,上体微右转;同时两前臂内旋,两掌外翻,掌心均向外,两腕于胸前交叉,左腕在外。目视左手。(图3-13)

3. 右转抱球:上动不停,重心转移至左腿,上体微右转;左掌向前、向下落并外旋,掌心上翻至腹前,掌指向右;右掌内旋,掌指向左,两掌心相对如抱球状。目视右掌。(图3-14)

4. 左转抱球:上动不停,重心移向右腿,上体左转;右掌向前、向下划弧并外旋,掌心上翻至腹前,掌指向左,左掌向后沿腹部向上划弧并内旋至胸前,掌心下翻与右掌心相对,犹如抱球。目视左掌。(图3-15)

5. 右转抱球:上动不停,重心移至左腿,上体右转;左掌向前、向下划弧并外旋,掌心上翻至腹前,掌指向右,右掌向后沿腹部向上划弧并内旋至胸前,掌心下翻与左掌心相对,犹如抱球。目视右掌。(图3-16)

6. 左转抱球:上动不停,重心移至右腿,上体左转;同时,右掌向前、向下弧形边落边外旋,掌心翻向上至腹前,掌指向左;左掌向后沿腹部向上划弧内旋提至胸前,掌心翻向下与右掌心相对,如抱球状。目视左掌。(图3-17)

7. 转身合手:上动不停,重心稍右移至两脚之间,上体微右转,面向正前方,左掌变拳落于右掌上,成“无极桩”势。(图3-18)

以上1~7分步,为滚球桩左势。
8. 按以上1~7分步,取方向相反、左右对称之规则再做一遍,此为滚球桩右势。
9. 收式
(1)落掌开立:上动不停,左掌托右掌移至胸前,右拳变掌,两掌同时内旋,掌心外翻,随后两腿慢慢伸起,两掌从两侧缓缓落至腿外侧,成开步直立。目视前方。(图3-19~21)
